A first century church in the twenty first century!

Over the past few years, we’ve been asked many times what type of church, Tapestry Covenant Community Church is.

That’s a really good question. Let’s start with what we are NOT.

• We’re not traditional
• We’re not denominational
• We’re not a mega-church, a mini-church or a para-church
• We don’t fit inside four walls—regardless of how big the building is
• We just don’t stay inside. We prefer to be out in the community.

Well, we are different.

We are all different parts of the same Body, each of us fitly joined together to fulfill the purpose He has called us.

That purpose is what gives us movement—and the movement is to implement some much-needed change!

People don’t like change. Even though they may be completely dissatisfied with life as they know it, they still don’t want to be the ones who change. They want someone else to do the changing for them.

When that desire for mass change reaches its pinnacle, you get a revolution, but the problem with a revolution is it just revolves!  It spins and turns and eventually wears itself out without making any real tangible progress. 

We don’t want a revolution. We want revelation. And the revelation we’ve had is this:  it’s time to be The Kingdom People on Earth as in Heaven.
