The family of God is people who have a relationship with the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through Jesus the Messiah (Christ)
You can be part of this family by faith in what Jesus has done for you!
God created an ideal world for man, His creation, and had an eternal relationship with him. Man chose to go his own way. We call that sin. God had to keep His word spoke to the man that he would die to eternal life. The man and his wife had to leave the ideal world and go their own way.
Because of sin in the world and man deciding to do life their way, the world become corrupt, and man is still trying to return to that ideal world on his own. He tries wealth, drugs, whatever he thinks will satisfy that return to the perfect, and others try power and control, perversions, the list goes on and on. None of which can or will return the individual to the ideal world.
But God, because of His love for and the desire for man to have a relationship with Him, know Him, have peace, and live eternally with Him, had to find a way to restore his creation man to the ideal world and that relationship.
So God became incarnate in a man to satisfy His law of sacrifice for sin: The Man, Jesus of Nazareth, whom we call the Messiah or the Christ.
He lived and was Crucified, suffered, and died for our sin against God and ourselves, on the third day, as was told centuries before it happened so that we might believe. On the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead to show that only God has the power to give eternal life.
The choice is which world would you rather live in, the ideal world with eternal life or the corrupt with sin and death?
Suppose you desire to live in the ideal world with a relationship with your creator and eternal life. YOU CAN.
Start today
All you need to do is
- Ask God for forgiveness, for doing things your way,
- Ask Jesus to come and live in you—with the Spirit God gave Him, whom we call the Holy Spirit.
- Ask by faith and prayer, believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins. You will be on your way to returning to that eternal relationship with God.
- And last, make a public profession of what you have done.
The Bible says in Romans 10:8-10 (NKJV)
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
